Creating lasting memories for you from our beautiful islands
For hundreds of years the island communities have been using seaweed washed up each winter from the storms to feed their land. Collected by hand, with horse and now with machines. The seaweed is ploughed into the machair and moors supplying crops with the most nutrient enriched feed imaginable. Amongst all this seaweed if you look hard enough on the land you will find the most beautiful shells.
Spending hours with the pooch always close by I sift through the seaweed and stones washed up onto the Croft and collect a small part of our history for you to have as a keepsake of your time spent on these beautiful islands.
If you would like a personalised keepsake made, then feel free to pop by. There is always fresh cake in the tin.
